We measure single differential cross sections as a function of the diphoton mass, the transverse momentum of the diphoton system, the azimuthal angle between the photons, and the polar scattering angle of the photons. In addition, we measure double differential cross sections considering the last three kinematic variables in three diphoton mass bins. The variable R φ measures the fraction of the inclusive dijet events in which the azimuthal separation of the two jets with the highest transverse momenta is less than a specified value of the parameter φmax. The quantity R φ is measured in p¯p collisions at √ s = 1.96 TeV, as a function of the dijet rapidity interval, the total scalar transverse momentum, and φmax. The measurement uses an event sample corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 0.7 fb−1 collected with the D0 detector at the Fermilab Tevatron Collider. The results are compared to predictions of a perturbative QCD calculation at next-to-leading order in the strong coupling with corrections for non-perturbative effects. The theory predictions describe the data well, except in the kinematic region of large dijet rapidity intervals and small φmax."],["dc.format.extent","8"],["dc.identifier.doi","10.1016/j.physletb.2013.03.029"],["dc.identifier.fs","600150"],["dc.identifier.purl","https://resolver.sub.uni-goettingen.de/purl?gs-1/11077"],["dc.identifier.uri","https://resolver.sub.uni-goettingen.de/purl?gro-2/58204"],["dc.language.iso","en"],["dc.notes.intern","TASK GROB-373"],["dc.notes.intern","Merged from goescholar"],["dc.relation.issn","0370-2693"],["dc.relation.orgunit","Fakultät für Physik"],["dc.rights","CC BY 3.0"],["dc.rights.access","openAccess"],["dc.subject.ddc","530"],["dc.title","Measurement of the combined rapidity and pT dependence of dijet azimuthal decorrelations in p¯p collisions at √ s = 1.96 TeV"],["dc.type","journal_article"],["dc.type.internalPublication","yes"],["dc.type.version","published_version"],["dspace.entity.type","Publication"]]Details DOI2016Journal Article [["dc.bibliographiccitation.firstpage","199"],["dc.bibliographiccitation.journal","Physics Letters B"],["dc.bibliographiccitation.lastpage","2016"],["dc.bibliographiccitation.volume","757"],["dc.contributor.author","Abazov, V.M."],["dc.contributor.author","Abbott, B."],["dc.contributor.author","Acharya, B.S."],["dc.contributor.author","Adams, M."],["dc.contributor.author","Adams, T."],["dc.contributor.author","Agnew, J.P."],["dc.contributor.author","Alexeev, G.D."],["dc.contributor.author","Alkhazov, G."],["dc.contributor.author","Alton, A."],["dc.contributor.author","Askew, A."],["dc.contributor.author","Zivkovic, L."],["dc.contributor.authorgroup","ATLAS Collaboration"],["dc.date.accessioned","2019-07-09T11:42:24Z"],["dc.date.available","2019-07-09T11:42:24Z"],["dc.date.issued","2016"],["dc.description.abstract","We present a measurement of the correlation between the spins of t and View the MathML source quarks produced in proton–antiproton collisions at the Tevatron Collider at a center-of-mass energy of 1.96 TeV.
