Spinodal decomposition and nucleation processes can be distinguished which lead, however, to the same final equilibrium state. Using frequency modulated scanning force microscopy we aimed to distinguish the demixed phases and their morphologies on a nm-scale at room temperature for samples with different concentration. While no contrast between the different phases are observed in the usual topographic mode, a modified evaluation of Kelvin experiments allows the distinction of silver-and sodium enriched phases. Moreover, direct evidence is found for concentration fluctuations which are characteristic for spinodal decomposition."],["dc.identifier.doi","10.1088/2053-1591/2/10/105013"],["dc.identifier.eissn","2053-1591"],["dc.identifier.isi","000370058600013"],["dc.identifier.purl","https://resolver.sub.uni-goettingen.de/purl?gs-1/13118"],["dc.identifier.uri","https://resolver.sub.uni-goettingen.de/purl?gro-2/35704"],["dc.language.iso","en"],["dc.notes.status","zu prüfen"],["dc.notes.submitter","Najko"],["dc.publisher","IOP Publishing"],["dc.relation.issn","2053-1591"],["dc.rights.access","openAccess"],["dc.rights.uri","http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/3.0/"],["dc.title","Imaging chemical concentration pattern and early stages of spinodal decomposition in the AgxNa1-xBr system by scanning force microscopy"],["dc.type","journal_article"],["dc.type.internalPublication","yes"],["dc.type.peerReviewed","yes"],["dc.type.status","published"],["dc.type.version","published_version"],["dspace.entity.type","Publication"]]Details DOI WOS2010Journal Article [["dc.bibliographiccitation.firstpage","61"],["dc.bibliographiccitation.journal","Diffusion-Fundamentals"],["dc.bibliographiccitation.lastpage","63"],["dc.bibliographiccitation.volume","12"],["dc.contributor.author","Eckold, Götz"],["dc.date.accessioned","2019-07-10T08:13:39Z"],["dc.date.available","2019-07-10T08:13:39Z"],["dc.date.issued","2010"],["dc.identifier.fs","571203"],["dc.identifier.purl","https://resolver.sub.uni-goettingen.de/purl?gs-1/7216"],["dc.identifier.uri","https://resolver.sub.uni-goettingen.de/purl?gro-2/61301"],["dc.language.iso","en"],["dc.notes.intern","Merged from goescholar"],["dc.relation.issn","1862-4138"],["dc.relation.orgunit","Fakultät für Chemie"],["dc.rights","Goescholar"],["dc.rights.uri","https://goescholar.uni-goettingen.de/licenses"],["dc.subject.ddc","540"],["dc.title","Ferroelectricity and Modulated Phases in Mixed Crystals of the A2BX4-Compounds"],["dc.type","journal_article"],["dc.type.internalPublication","yes"],["dc.type.version","published_version"],["dspace.entity.type","Publication"]]Details2010Journal Article [["dc.bibliographiccitation.firstpage","19"],["dc.bibliographiccitation.journal","diffusion-fundamentals"],["dc.bibliographiccitation.lastpage","20"],["dc.bibliographiccitation.volume","12"],["dc.contributor.author","Eckold, Götz"],["dc.date.accessioned","2019-07-10T08:13:39Z"],["dc.date.available","2019-07-10T08:13:39Z"],["dc.date.issued","2010"],["dc.identifier.fs","570536"],["dc.identifier.purl","https://resolver.sub.uni-goettingen.de/purl?gs-1/7213"],["dc.identifier.uri","https://resolver.sub.uni-goettingen.de/purl?gro-2/61298"],["dc.language.iso","en"],["dc.notes.intern","Merged from goescholar"],["dc.relation.issn","1862-4138"],["dc.relation.orgunit","Fakultät für Chemie"],["dc.rights","Goescholar"],["dc.rights.uri","https://goescholar.uni-goettingen.de/licenses"],["dc.title","Time Resolved Phonons as a Microscopic Probe for Solid State Reactions"],["dc.type","journal_article"],["dc.type.internalPublication","yes"],["dc.type.version","published_version"],["dspace.entity.type","Publication"]]Details2015Journal Article [["dc.bibliographiccitation.artnumber","096103"],["dc.bibliographiccitation.issue","9"],["dc.bibliographiccitation.journal","Materials Research Express"],["dc.bibliographiccitation.volume","2"],["dc.contributor.affiliation","Ziegler, Fabian;"],["dc.contributor.affiliation","Gibhardt, Holger;"],["dc.contributor.affiliation","Leist, Jeannis;"],["dc.contributor.affiliation","Eckold, Götz;"],["dc.contributor.author","Ziegler, Fabian"],["dc.contributor.author","Gibhardt, Holger"],["dc.contributor.author","Leist, Jeannis"],["dc.contributor.author","Eckold, Götz"],["dc.date.accessioned","2018-11-07T09:51:52Z"],["dc.date.available","2018-11-07T09:51:52Z"],["dc.date.issued","2015"],["dc.date.updated","2022-02-09T13:18:41Z"],["dc.description.abstract","MnWO4 passes three antiferromagnetic phase transitions below the Neel temperature T-N = 13.5 K. One of these phases is also ferroelectric and MnWO4 is therefore referred to as multiferroic. We investigated the effect of magnetic and electric ordering on the lattice dynamics by high-resolution polarized Raman spectroscopy. With an accuracy of about 0.02 cm(-1), anomalous shifts of nearly all Raman-active phonon wave numbers were observed below T-N. High-energy metal-oxygen stretching modes soften on cooling, while low-energy vibrations become harder. Due to their linear temperature dependence, these anomalies can be attributed to a higher-order spin-phonon coupling process. The phonon line widths are unaffected by the magnetic phase transitions and continuously increase with temperature as expected for three-phonon decay processes."],["dc.identifier.doi","10.1088/2053-1591/2/9/096103"],["dc.identifier.eissn","2053-1591"],["dc.identifier.isi","000370057200044"],["dc.identifier.purl","https://resolver.sub.uni-goettingen.de/purl?gs-1/13120"],["dc.identifier.uri","https://resolver.sub.uni-goettingen.de/purl?gro-2/35999"],["dc.language.iso","en"],["dc.notes.status","zu prüfen"],["dc.notes.submitter","Najko"],["dc.publisher","IOP Publishing"],["dc.relation.issn","2053-1591"],["dc.rights.access","openAccess"],["dc.rights.uri","http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/3.0/"],["dc.title","High-resolution polarised Raman scattering study on spin-phonon coupling in multiferroic MnWO4"],["dc.type","journal_article"],["dc.type.internalPublication","yes"],["dc.type.peerReviewed","yes"],["dc.type.status","published"],["dc.type.version","published_version"],["dspace.entity.type","Publication"]]Details DOI WOS2010Journal Article [["dc.bibliographiccitation.firstpage","109"],["dc.bibliographiccitation.journal","Diffusion-Fundamentals"],["dc.bibliographiccitation.lastpage","110"],["dc.bibliographiccitation.volume","12"],["dc.contributor.author","Eckold, Götz"],["dc.date.accessioned","2019-07-10T08:13:39Z"],["dc.date.available","2019-07-10T08:13:39Z"],["dc.date.issued","2010"],["dc.identifier.fs","571196"],["dc.identifier.purl","https://resolver.sub.uni-goettingen.de/purl?gs-1/7215"],["dc.identifier.uri","https://resolver.sub.uni-goettingen.de/purl?gro-2/61300"],["dc.language.iso","en"],["dc.notes.intern","Merged from goescholar"],["dc.relation.issn","1862-4138"],["dc.relation.orgunit","Fakultät für Chemie"],["dc.rights","Goescholar"],["dc.rights.uri","https://goescholar.uni-goettingen.de/licenses"],["dc.subject.ddc","540"],["dc.title","Phonons in Demixing Systems"],["dc.type","journal_article"],["dc.type.internalPublication","yes"],["dc.type.version","published_version"],["dspace.entity.type","Publication"]]Details2015Journal Article [["dc.bibliographiccitation.firstpage","63"],["dc.bibliographiccitation.journal","NUCLEAR INSTRUMENTS & METHODS IN PHYSICS RESEARCH SECTION A-ACCELERATORS SPECTROMETERS DETECTORS AND ASSOCIATED EQUIPMENT"],["dc.bibliographiccitation.lastpage","71"],["dc.bibliographiccitation.volume","772"],["dc.contributor.author","Sobolev, Oleg"],["dc.contributor.author","Hoffmann, Ron"],["dc.contributor.author","Gibhardt, Holger"],["dc.contributor.author","Juenke, Norbert"],["dc.contributor.author","Knorr, Andreas"],["dc.contributor.author","Meyer, Volker"],["dc.contributor.author","Eckold, Goetz"],["dc.date.accessioned","2018-11-07T10:01:51Z"],["dc.date.available","2018-11-07T10:01:51Z"],["dc.date.issued","2015"],["dc.description.abstract","A new type of multiplex technique for three axes neutron spectrometers has been realized and successfully commissioned at the PUMA spectrometer at FRM II. Consisting of eleven analyser-detector channels which can be configured individually, this technique is especially suitable for kinetic experiments where a single excitation spectrum is recorded as a function of time without the need to move the spectrometer On a time-scale of seconds an entire spectrum can be recorded thus allowing users to monitor changes during fast kinetic processes in single shot experiments without the need for stroboscopic techniques. Moreover, the multianalyser system provides an efficient and rapid tool for mapping excitations in (Q,omega)-space. The results of pilot experiments demonstrate the performance of this new technique and a user-friendly software is presented which assists users during their experiments. (C) 2014 The Authors.
