The data are collected with the H1 detector at HERA corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 136  pb\r\n \r\n \r\n \r\n $^{-1}$\r\n \r\n \r\n \r\n \r\n -\r\n 1\r\n \r\n \r\n \r\n . Charged particle multiplicities are measured as a function of photon virtuality \r\n \r\n \r\n \r\n $Q^2$\r\n \r\n \r\n Q\r\n 2\r\n \r\n \r\n , inelasticity y and pseudorapidity \r\n \r\n \r\n \r\n $\\eta $\r\n \r\n η\r\n \r\n in the laboratory and the hadronic centre-of-mass frames. Predictions from different Monte Carlo models are compared to the data. The first and second moments of the multiplicity distributions are determined and the KNO scaling behaviour is investigated. Open science policies at the institutional level consequently followed and have been with us for over a decade. However, for several reasons, their adoption often is still far from complete when it comes to the practices of researchers or research groups. To improve this situation at our university, there is dedicated support at the infrastructural level: the university library collaborates with several campus units in developing and running services, activities and projects in support of open access and open science. This article outlines our main activity areas and aligns them with the overall rationale to reach higher uptake and acceptance of open science practice at the university. The mentioned examples of our activities highlight how we seek to advance open science along the needs and perspectives of diverse audiences and by running it as a multi-stakeholder endeavor. Therefore, our activities involve library colleagues with diverse backgrounds, faculty and early career researchers, research managers, as well as project and infrastructure staff. An implementation error in the NNLO predictions was found [4] which changes the numerical values of the predictions and the resulting values of the fits. Using the corrected NNLO predictions together with inclusive jet and dijet data, the strong coupling constant is determined to be $\\alpha _{\\mathrm{s}} (m_{\\mathrm{Z}}) =0.1166\\,(19)_{\\mathrm{exp}}\\,(24)_{\\mathrm{th}}$ α s ( m Z ) = 0.1166 ( 19 ) exp ( 24 ) th . Complementarily, $\\alpha _{\\mathrm{s}} (m_{\\mathrm{Z}})$ α s ( m Z ) is determined together with parton distribution functions of the proton (PDFs) from jet and inclusive DIS data measured by the H1 experiment. The value $\\alpha _{\\mathrm{s}} (m_{\\mathrm{Z}}) =0.1147\\,(25)_{\\mathrm{tot}}$ α s ( m Z ) = 0.1147 ( 25 ) tot obtained is consistent with the determination from jet data alone.
