Atrioventricular mechanical coupling and major adverse cardiac events in female patients following acute ST elevation myocardial infarction

Sex-specific outcome data following myocardial infarction (MI) are inconclusive with some evidence suggesting association of female sex and increased major adverse cardiac events (MACE).
