Measurement of nuclear moments in the region of light neutron-rich nuclei

Abstract
Spin-polarized radio active-isotope beams developed at RIKEN offer us the opportunity of studying structures of nuclei far from the stability line through the measurement of electromagnetic moments. The effects of the neutron excess on the structure are discussed through the systemic measurements of the mu-moments of nitrogen isotopes and the Q-moments of boron isotopes. We also applied the result of mu-moment measurements for C-17 to the spin-parity assignment of its ground state.
