Abstract
Reaction of a new beta-diketiminato derivative of terbium, LTbBr2 (L = [N,N"-(1,3-dimethyl-1,3-propanediylidene)bis[N'.N"-diethyl-1,2-ethanediamine]]), in the molar ratio 1:2 with LiCH2SiMe3 gives the terbium complex LTb(CH2SiMe3)(2), whose structure was established by elemental and X-ray analyses.
